I have a irritating sensation in throat all time since last 1 year. When I talk I feel tiredness in throat. Having Problem of swallowing but it does not matter when I take my meal. Also I feel my Adams apple protruding, and it interferes me when I swallow saliva. I have a somewhat large tonsils with redness, but it does not having pain of that type when I get cold and cough. I used antibiotics course from doctor and it does not help me. Please consult.

Hi lybrate-user. You have said that you previously had a facial palsy. Can I have the details of that. Your symptoms can be due to gastritis or can be due to an benign swelling in the throat. It can even be a thyroid problem. For details evaluation you should get a laryngoscopy done.
