Sir, Is the treatment necessary, since I am having fistula for last year but it is not painful and I don't feel anything. Also is the treatment painful.

Fistulas can get badly infected as they are connected with the stool passage. Hence require treatment All surgical treatments are painful to some extent. The surgery is done under anaesthesia, post operative minimal pain will be there.
