Good morning! I am 56 year old male and had my CT Cisternography 10 days back for the first time performed by injecting sterile non-ionic diluted 7 ml contrast through the lumbar puncture to rule out CSF Rhinorrhea. My Serum Creatine level before the procedure was 0.91. Of course, the test report has come normal. Now my question and worry is whether this contrast dye used in my diagnostic imaging will create any Kidney problems in future as I have read many articles mentioning the adverse effects of contrast dye is being used in CT scans correlated with kidney diseases and etchanking you in advance for your advice.
