I am 17 years old and on Friday the thirtieth of November I woke up with a neck pain. I tried some exercises to release the pain but after doing so it started to swell. I feel the pain at the side of my neck all the way to my scapula. Then my arms and leg started paining me too. Further more my mom used warm water and then message it and then used some alcohol to lesser the pain. It kind of faded but the pain is still there. I can turned my head from right to left but I can't pull my head backward because of the pain. Can anybody help me please.

Apply heat or ice to the painful area. Take over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Keep moving, but avoid jerking or painful activities. Do slow range-of-motion exercises, up and down, side to side, and from ear to ear.
