My dad was bitten by a stray dog few weeks ago. He was under a regimen of rabipur vaccine. We had to come to vellore due to some unavoidable circumstances. Unfortunately rabipur is not available here. A different vaccine called zoonovac - v was administered here. He had 3 dose of rabipur and now a fourth dose of zoonovac. Are both the vaccine same? Or is it going to create complications later. I am really worried. If you could clear my doubt it would be very helpful. Waiting for your reply in anticipation. Thanks.

Though it is better to stick to same vaccine but it is more important to maintain the schedule of vaccination on time. Don't worry.
