Dear, You are being given a good antibiotic. Too much of whitish sputum may occur in certain conditions. Please go for sputum examination for AFB, gram staining, culture sensitivity. Meanwhile nebulisation with asthalin and budecort 8 hourly may help you. Tab mucinac 600 thrice daily will help you ease with the sputum. More over try to be ambulatory as much as possible and ask for chest physiotherapy. Best wishes
