I am 29 Years old. I go for a routine health check-up every year. A few months back I have done my ultrasound tests and got this result. RK- 11.9*5.5 cm - normal LK- 8.2*4.2 cm - mildly contracted and shows a diffuse increase in echogenicity with maintained corticomedullary differentiation. Left kidney - 8.2 * 4.2 cm, Mildly contracted left kidney with an increase in parenchymal echogenicity- probably representing unilateral chronic renal parenchymal disease. Other tests like blood urea and creatinine are normal. Please advise.

If creatinine is normal then nothing much to worry. Keep yourself well hydrated and you can do regular USG abdomen just to keep a check on size of left kidney.
