I have lower left side abdominal pain when pressed. I have constipation very often.

Dear lybrateuser, -The pain could be due to constipation & improper evacuation of bowel - have plenty of oral fluids including 2-3 litres of water per day for proper hydration and digestion - have more of fibre rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, wholegrains instead of refined ones, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas, nuts - mix a tablespoon of isabgol powder in a glass of warm water and have it one hour before bedtime at night for proper motion - take a pain relief tablet if pain is more - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, yoga for proper digestion - avoid fried, spicy & junk foods.
