Hi, 3 months back somehow I got a infection kind of thing on my thumb finger that hurts even for a sensitive touch. Upon contacting a dermatologist he confirmed that its a 'Subungual wart' and he exercised the affected area. This happened a 2 months back. Now from past 1 month I can see that growing again. When I spoke to the same doctor he says that I can not do anything for that. I am confused. Should I get my thumb cut periodically just like I cut my finger nails? There is no permanent solution for this? This is growing in size and occupying more space and my finger looks swollen. Please help me.
