Am 29 and married a year ago. I am having this itching problem in outer vagina from past 3 months. I never compromise with hygiene and also have taken medicines and apply ointments too. But nothing works. I have no clue why m having itchiness in my intimate area and what I can do to cure this. Please suggest.

Itching on the skin of the vagina or vulva (area surrounding the vagina) can be a sign of: Yeast infection. Sexually transmitted diseases, such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, or trichomoniasis. Overgrowth of normal bacteria in the vagina, called bacterial vaginosis. Avoid scented pads or toilet paper, creams, bubble bath, feminine sprays, and douches. Use water and a plain, unscented soap to regularly clean your external genital area. Always wipe from front to back after having a bowel movement.
