I am 23 years old and 4 months married. I am on saheli non hormonal birth control pill. My family does not know about it. I wanted to know if I go to a going for tests will my reports show that I am on birth control? Like how can one find out about it? Because I don't want them to know that and they will take me for a check up to find why I have not conceived yet. Please answer in detail.

There is no way of knowing that you are on pills. Do not worry. But you should tell them about your unwillingness to start a family right now. Give logical explanation for this. That should help all parties concerned.

I know of no laboratory test that will "reveal" birth control pills. FSH and LH will show normal levels because both are used by the body to stimulate ovulation and implantation. Since birth control pills a) fake the body into thinking it's already pregnant, and/or b) prevent implantation, I can see no way hormonal contraception would be detected.
