I am a 23 y/o male, working professional. On 29th Nov, right after dinner, I faced with a really fast heartbeat pacing up to 130bpm post which I was taken to the hospital and ecg was performed which concluded a normal ecg and sinus tachycardia. Doctor said, it could be a gastric attack. This incident repeated itself on 31st Nov again. Doctor suggested we get an ultrasound done. I was diagnosed with a gallbladder Stone and the doctor recommended immediate laparoscopic removal. Post which, we consulted a Laparoscopy specialist and after re-evaluation, he diagnosed a 13 mm stone. On 4th Dec I underwent a Laparoscopy and my gallbladder was removed. After I gained conscience, I again faced palpitations and was missing beats as per the doctor. My pulse rate was 125bpm. After a week of light meals that include semi solids and fluids, I was facing the same problem. I met my surgeon for dressing up of my stitches and he recommended me to meet a cardiologist as this seemed something completely different. My stitches got removed on 14th Dec and I met a cardiologist who doubted if this could be PSVT and recommend that I should go for an Echo and Holter Monitoring. Both my tests came normal and found no abnormalities. As per Holter my lowest rate was 47 bpm and highest was 129 bpm. Although I am recovering now from the surgery and still on semi solids asy digestive system has become week, my heart rate increases with any physical activity.
