Hi, I am 67 years old retired man having a problem of fistula which was operated a month ago in Max hospital Vaishali. Everything is alright after the surgery. The only major problem I have been facing since then till today is not getting stool passed, which is depressing for me a lot. I have been taking all prescribed medicines including loose pack given for passing stool. But, nothing seems to work out in my case. However, my daily eating routine does not include anything heavy. I start my day with fruits like apple, sometimes have other fruit, then I have vegetable/fruit juice, and 2 chapatis with spicy and 2 glasses of butter milk. Similarly, I have fruits like papaya and apple in evening snacks and then have little dalia daily at night around 8: 30. Is this simple diet reason of my problem. What should I do to get rid of my problem as I have been a man who used to freshen up twice a day before this fistula happened to me at severe level. Please help me with some solution.

Once in three days or thrice a day is considered to be normal bowel movement, if you have no problem other than this then need not worry.
