I have went through inguinal hernia surgery 20 days ago. I have been using laxatives and stool softener since 25 days. Now when I do not use laxative for one day I do not have regular bowel movement. I am drinking lot of water and high fiber diet. When should I stop laxatives? How not to depend upon laxatives? Am I laxative addicted?
