Dear doctor I have suffered from Tuberculosis before now it's fully cleared but it has created a scar on my lungs and whenever i am taking xray it's showing the scar. Currently I got a job in uae and scar is a serious problem there for the medical. Is there any way to heal the scar.

Dear friend, the scan on lung formed due to tuberculosis can not be removed or disappear. It will be there. But since you have taken full treatment and are cured totally there should be no problem in getting a job. I suggest you see a tb specialist and get a certificate stating that you are free of tb and the scar is only a remnant of the old disease. Submit that certificate to your employers, there should be no problem. Best wishes for your new job.
