I have having dandruff problems. Even my father has dandruff. I have red type of patches where I have dandruff. Why is that. Is there any way to cure it. Bcz I have met many doctors but nothing has stopped it. I have even met doctors who have got awards for their service but it is of no use to me. Help me out. When I shave I can see white flakes and patches all over my cheeks.

Dandruff can be treated with lotions and shampoo (not commercial ones). Some people do have more oily scalp which cause visible flakes which we call dandruff. There are some other conditions also which can present like flaking of the scalp and have to be ruled out. Do not apply oil on scalp as it will increase the problem.
