So my father had anorectum cancer and had to remove rectum, sphincter along with the prostate and the bladder. He uses both a urostomy and a colostomy bag now. I heard of the J pouch surgery, but am having questions whether this surgery could be done on him. Since his sphincter muscles have been removed. If there is any way he could function normal, we are up for it. I?d like to know which hospital it?s done in or anything which can help me with this doubt. Thanks in advance.
