I am a nurse. Dr.diagnosed as a bipolar disorder. Earlier I take risperidone 4 mg and pacitane. Now doctor prescribed a dicorate er 1gm and qutipin sr 100. Now am suffering from hypersexuality so I cannot concentrate on my job. This symptom reduced this medicine itself or please add another medicine. I started new medicine from aug. 2018. Please solve my problem.

Dear lybrate-user, Yes, with Dicorate e r 1 gm and qutipin s r 100 itself, it will settle down. Please consult your doctor about increase of dose. Dicorate will be 20 mg/lg body weight. Qutipin according to your symptom control and sedation. Since I don't know your weight and the type of work you do as a nurse, only your doctor can make change of dose, if necessary.
