Age: 48 Yrs Gender: Female Problem Details: Sir, my mother have completed her breast cancer treatment including chemo, surgery and radiation. But now her blood sugar level is 303 mg/dl. From the test we realized that for last 3 month the avg sugar level is also 303.6%.but she said during surgery when they tested blood glucose level was normal.(was on august 14. Her SGOT (AST) is 62.8 IU/L ans SGPT (ALT) is 106.3 IU/L.alkaline phosphate level is 118.0 IU/L. Her cholesterol level is a bit high its 247 mg/dl. Triglyceride is 182 mg/L.one doctor told. cholesterol may be due to high sugar. Doctor is it the side effect of chemo? We yesterday consulted physician and he gave some medicine for sugar. Will that be enough to reduce SGOT and SGPT. There is no sugar history in our family.
