My daughter (10 years of age) has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. All information given to us at the moment indicates this is non reversible and a life long illness. Is there anything we can do to help my daughter.

Teaching her what is good to eat and what is not, to remain physically active, she is just like other children and she should interact with them normally, no special attention. Gradually teach her about diabetes etc.
