I think my new born son has a umbilical granuloma issue what to do kindly sugest he took birth on 28th December 2018. We only used Neosporin antibiotic powder from last 2 days. He is only 15 days old kindly suggest the best.

Umbilical granuloma can occur in infants. It is not necessary to remove it and many times no intervention is done and it resolves on its own after few months. Some of the treatment modalities available are 1. Topical salt therapy 2. Surgical removal 3. Chemical application on the granuloma you can discuss the above treatment modalities with your pediatrician.
