Hello, Accidentally I was pricked my self with hiv positive 4 mm diabetic pen needle. Below is scenario. I gave insulin to my aunty on her tummy (this activity took hardly 5-8 sec), while recapping the needle, it goes inside edges of cap came out and pricked to my thumb. 2-3 drops of blood came from my thumb. Later the day we got to know my aunty is HIV positive. Immediately we went hospital and started PEP on 24th our. Could you please let me amount of risk involved in this injury? When I have to go for HIV test? Can I go for HIV 4th generation test 28th day?
