Hello. You did nt right what was the result? Normally the window period is from 3 to 12 weeks. By 12 weeks antibodies are present in an HIV infected pt in 99.95% of cases. A test a 6 months is asked it some one tested positive for HCV from the suspected exposure as HCV delays the appearence of antibodies. You can consult any hiv spl. For further proper guidence and not to waste money on unneccesary and very expensive tests (such as HIV 1 DNA proviral test)
