I undergone tonsillectomy in 2016 and this really help me avoid having tonsillitis for about a year. I noticed in 2018 until now that I have a on and off throat inflammation again every time I am drinking sweet juices, ice cream or any cold drinks and chocolates. What causes my inflammation? Are my tonsils back? Thank you.

Hello lybrate-user. It didn't help you. Tonsils are the check point for the infection entering in the body. It stops the infection spreading ahead. And in that response, fighting against the infection it gets swollen. By removing the tonsils, you gave a high way to the infection and a free pass to enter the more important structure of the body. So better take homoeopathic treatment to cure it.
