Am 19 and am newly married so my last period was on 14 dec and now am pregnant december 27 we are married and now am pregnant today I went to hospital and scan was done in that scanning lmp is showing 5 week and 6 days why is it so? Can you clear my doubt.

If last period was 14th december all medical calculations are done from that date though pregnancy lodges later. So by simple calculation pregnancy is of 6 weeks.
