Hello doctor, I have pcod and I am trying to convince so after many tests Dr. suggest me to take duphaston 10 mg and metatoze ipr 500 but maine google p search kar key dekha k metatoze ipr is for type 2 diabetes but mjhe sugar nhi h so is it safe to take it? And mjhe Dr. ne duphaston 19 to 25 day p lene ko bola tha maine lia bhi but 36 ho gae mjhe periods nhi aaya or na hi pregnancy hui to mjhe ab kya krna chaie kya meradoze shi rhega lena please adviced me.

metformin is an insulin sensitiser and helps patients with pcod. you can wait for your periods to come periods will generally come a few days after stopping duphaston provided you have a good endometrium. you can continue metformin.
