Hello doctor, my husband is 70 years old had hip replacement surgery in july 2010 (right hip) he is being treated for high blood pressure (envas5 mg) and diabetes (glycomet 2) his right foot is swollen he was diagnosed with grade 1lung condition and left ventricle diastolic dysfunction could the swelling be related to his hip replacement or his lung /heart? Would an x ray show whether the cause is orthopaedic? What other tests are required please thank you for your time rose.
