I have ulcer. The symptoms are serious pain at the back with stomach ache, sometimes I vomit and also purge. I do take flagyl, omeprazole and cimetidine and gascol. Want to know if the treatment is in order. Also went for blood text and was diagnosed of ulcer caused by h.pylori.

Diagnosis of a gastric ulcer is made on upper gi endoscopy. I suggest you to take only omeprazole twice daily for atleast 8 weeks, get endoscopy done and start your antibiotics for h pylori. Or you can use h.pylori kit. Take tramadol for pain relief. And dietary modification to be used. Kindly make a personal consultation to me regarding the specific medication and surgical opinion.
