My 27 week ultra sound says that I have posterior placenta grade 2 maturity. I faced some spotting also. Doctor suggests me to take susten 200sr & duvadilan 10 mg. My q is it placenta previa? Is susten help for this? Can I go full term pregnancy? & can progesterone cause any bad effect in future for fetus & mother? Pls help me doctor.

No it's not placenta praevia, Your doctor must have prescribed susten because of spotting,susten contains micronized progesterone, progesterone hormone is secreted by placenta and is required for the maintenance of pregnancy,if required it's given additionally and it will not cause any harm to the fetus.
