Hi, i'm going to get married on 30th march, 2019. My future wife's period cycle usual starts from 5th of a month. I have heard that having sex before 5 or 6 days of period, is not a obvious that she will get pregnant. My question is that if my future wife's periods starts on 5 or 6th of month. Should we have sex on 30th march? Or after her period ends? For conceiving a baby.

It is called safe period of family planning but it is unsafe meaning high failure rate. In a woman having 28 days regular cycle safe period is considered as from day 1 to 10 and 17 to 28 counting from first day of last period. If periods have different cycle depending on that counting changes. There are many temporary family planning methods like oral pills, injectable hormones, intra uterine devices, condoms, diaphragms, safe period, coitus interruptus etc. You must know about success and failure rates of all as well as advantages and dis-advantages of all to decide which suits you the best. May be consult gynecologist as a couple.
