Have pcos and I am currently on metformin prescribed by my gynaecologist. I want to stop it and start taking the birth control pill. I use to take yaz before taking metformin but I had severe migraines. But I've lost a significant amount of weight. I drink lots of water and am on a new diet. Do you think this will harm my body?

If you have migraine with pcos please do not take it, may be thats the reason your doc prescribed metformin, continue it it will help in regularizing the periods and decreases insulin resistance.
