Sir I wanted to ask that my mother had ultrasound of breast and the report said that she has bilateral breast fibroadenoma birads 2 she had her test in 2017 and then suddenly he felt chest pain yesterday and went to doctor and the doctor without any test gave her ormeloxifene. So sir I wanted to ask why she has prescribed this medicine without any tests? And can birads 2 change into cancer as everyone is very tensed in the house and today she is going for her tests. Please explain sir.

Ormeloxifene is the drug .for treatment of fibroadenoma as shown in usg report of 2017. Recently again high resolution sonography of bilateral breast is needed. Don't worry. As every birad category fibroadenoma. Need not change in carcinoma. So please get relax n go for further test. As your doctor prescribed.
