My wife was detected metastatic breast cancer in 2014 and hr 2 positive she undergone breast surgery chemotherapy and radiation some time she feels better then again disease reoccur she received herceptin also but no effect kindly advise me cost effective best treatment for her.

Sorry to know about your wife. Herceptin or other her 2 receptor targeted agents are expected to work best with least side effects if her 2 is positive. Cost is a problem but I think some state governments do provide medicines at subsidised rate. I am working at a trust hospital where we provide herceptin at a subsidised rate.

If there is progression on herceptin kindly consider option like lapatinib and capecitabine combination. The lapatinib is now available at very cheaper rates.
