Night fall, explained medically, during rapid eye movement sleep, there is intense activity in the brain. During this phase, nocturnal emissions may occur if there are dreams of a sexual nature. You may wake up or you can sleep through it without realising it. This can occur with or without an erection. Nocturnal emission (or commonly known as night fall) is an ejaculation of semen involuntarily. It is an orgasm, which occurs spontaneously. Wet dreams are common among men. Women may have wet dreams too. It occurs mostly in young males after puberty if they are not active sexually by masturbation or sex. It is a natural process, a way for the body to relieve itself of sexual arousal. When there is an excess of sperm,(as it produced continuously in the body) which is more than the body can hold, it releases sperm. It can also be considered body's response to over-stimulation. The frequency of nocturnal emissions varies from person to person. It's an embarrassing situation for many men, and they avoid talking about it, and many think it is a disease. But it is a harmless process and a natural process. It is often observed in people who are not sexually active. If sexually active, if the man masturbates regularly or has sexual contact of any kind, they have a lesser chance of having night fall. There are myths about wet dreams indicating that this condition causes low sexual infection. That's not true. This does not cause physical weakness or sexual abuse. Another myth is that it reduces the number of sperm, which is also false. Some home remedies for nocturnal emissions that are tried by people to reduce this, are as follows. But these are not proven scientifically or not needed 1.Take fenugreek (methi) with honey on a regular basis. 2.Having curd daily helps people sleep better without interference. 3.Gourd juice is also known to induce better sleep. 4.Eating onions helps to reduce wet dreams. 5.Bath with essential oils mixed in the bath can be relaxing. 6.You must let your mind wander. Enjoy entertainment. Listen to soothing music and read good books. 7.Avoid tea and coffee and alcohol. 8.Eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water to help the body release toxins from the body. 9.Exercise regularly and practice yoga to keep the mind and body calm and relaxed. Dream on but don't worry.
