I am 25 year old male. Recently I have fistula in ano. Mri suggests that it is a low type inter sphincters anal fistula with no anbsess cavity. It was 3.5 mm with no inside mucosal opening. Doctor told me that operations is mandatory but later on he told me that possibly it is healing so we can go with antibiotics. 2 month of antibiotics has been done but still in 5 or 7 day interval I face abscess, push and pain. How much time it will take to heal completely or operation should be done please help. From last month my doctor is out of station.

You certainly need a surgical or ksharsutra treatment for permanent cure.

Fistula in ano can not treated by oral medicines. Anti biotics can give only temporary relief. So usually surgery is advised for this problem. But surgery is not right choice for the reason of recurrence of fistula after surgery. In appox. 20-25 % cases fistula recurs after surgery. Besides this other complications like stool incontinence (inability to hold stool) etc. Are also seen in surgery for fistula in ano. How ever this problem can be completely treated without surgery by graded ksharsutra treatment. Clinical trials conducted by indian council of medical research (icmr) at aiims new delhi and pgi chandigarh have confirmed that ksharsutra treatment is more convenient and more effective than surgery. No hospitalization no bed rest required in this treatment. You can continue your normal routine activities as usual during this treatment.
