Sir I have been treated with ulcerative colitis 5 years back im taking mesacol od (1.2g) 2 tabs twice a day and prednisone 20 mg once. Everything is working good just want some information 1. I am having 6 to 7 bowel movements, does taking mesacol reduces my bowel movements or it will be same for my lifetime 2. Should I take mesacol on empty stomach or before using flush 3. And should I take mesacol brfote food or after food. What is the best time to take mesacol.
