I am 42 years male and had absesse on knee. I was out of station and couldn't showed to doctor. I had antibiotics and combiflam. After returning home I had surgery and during that they found my sugar high in 200 levels. Hba1c came to 7.2. Doctor prescribed zoryl 0.5 in morning and metformin 500 mg in night. I am having a lot of trouble with this in stomach and suffering daily for a month. After asking to doctor he told take rantac. Even rantac is not helping. What should I do. Is this sugar and hba1c could be high because of bacterial infection? I have lost 6 kg in month and having diet with reduced carbs and 5 km walk. Can I can control through diet and exercise. Should I stop medication and test once?
