My father is undergoing chemotherapy, he has been advised grafeel injection, should this be given when the tlc goes below 2000 or can this be given even when tlc is at normal level (about 5000)

Grafeel can. Be used as therapeutic or prophylactic option based on. Chemo regimen. What was your chemo dose drug and date. If therapeutic can be used after neutropenia. It prophylactic can be used daily aor alternate days for 3 to 4 doses.

Grafeel injection can be given prophylactically to prevent the neutropenia ie lowering the counts after the chemotherapy it is typically given within 24 hours to 72 hours post chemotherapy well it is also used in patients with low counts i.e anc count below 1500.
