Dialysis since last 3 years, high but stable creatinine at 8.5. due to some urine infection there has been high fever at 104 degree, and augmentin antibiotic also didn't work. Then doctor gave 2 dose of injectable antibiotic (one yesterday evening and one in morning) and possibly higher dose of it. Though the fever is not there now, but their is a lot of body ache now, which is almost unbearable. She also took half ultracet which also didn't work. the patient is located in pali, rajasthan and we need viewpoint of some good doctor, possibly nephrologist. We have all the blood and urine tests done, and can share as required. Please suggest why it is so, and what medication should be taken.

Any fever and infection can cause generalised body ache and weakness. In dialysis patients the immunity is weak so it may take a longer time to settle. Need to see detail reports to assess the exact situation.
