Hello sir. My 1 1/2 years great dane is down with tick fever. His hemoglobin is 3 and platelets count is 20k. Doctor suggested for blood transfusion. Is it safe? I mean will his body respond to blood transfusion positively? In human beings blood transfusion is painful I heard. What would you suggest?
