Infliximab (remicade) is a tnf (tumor necrosis factor) blocker. It's used to treat moderate to severe crohn's disease. It was initially designed as a chemotherapy drug to treat cancer. Tnf is a protein produced by the body when cancer tumors and other medical conditions and infections are present. As you have asked, to give second opinion she needs to e examined and all results done so far have to be studied. Just by merely reading some vague description it is not possible to give expert second opinion.
