My son has tonsils and adenoids. X-ray outcome says accentuated broncho vascular markings seen in both lung fields along with enlarged adenoids. I am more concerned about accentuated broncho vascular markings. Please help me understand the severity of the problem.

It is a very common finding in most of the x rays and is not a significant worry.Bronchovascular Markings are caused by lung vessels, mainly veins. Respiratory passages are not visible as these contain air. Prominent means generally Infection In respiratory passages or fluid in the lungs.
