I'm 25 years old. I'm taking licab xl 800 mg from 5 years. Since one year my dosage is being gradually reduced. Now it is 300 mg. As i'm doing well doctor decided to quit medication this year, within few months. My problem is from 2 years, my menses cycle reduced to 2 days. But periods are regular. Is this any serious problem, will my cycle recover to 4 days after stopping medication as i'm thinking it is a side effect of medication. please answer.

Do not worry much regarding the duration of your periods if your cycle is regular. Sometimes drugs like lithium can affect periods. Just go for some basic investigations like: usg lower abdomen blood :1) hb% 2) tsh 3) prl. Keep a check on your body weight. Avoid weight gain, do regular brisk walk and take a healthy diet.
