There is not a problem. I just need to ask, my sister wants to delay her periods due to some official event because she feels cramps during her period and she cannot afford to ruin her event because of these cramps. There are medications for delaying the periods, just wanted to consult with a doctor. She is a virgin. Is it safe? If yes, please suggest medications, dosage, when to start the medicine, when to stop, amd side effects if any.

The medicine for delaying period is 1 tablet of primolut n three times daily, starting 3 days before the expected onset of menstruation and continuing for not longer than 10 to 14 days. A normal period should occur 2-3 days after the patient has stopped taking tablets. Regestrone is a similarly used pill it is a synthetic hormone, designed to stop or delay your period before it starts by mimicking progesterone. Take regestrone 5 mg tablet twice daily to be started 3 days before your expected period date, till you want to postponed your menses.
