Hi i am frequently suffering from Diarrhoea.I am a Diabetic Patient.I take Metformin 1000mg twice Daily. Kindly Guide how to Avoid the Frequent Diarrhoea

Welcome diarrhea may be due to metformin,diabetes in later stage. Take fresh fruits,curd . Avoid fruit juices,coffee,cola. Get blood test for HbA1C, stool test for ova & cyst. Colonoscopy to rule out I B S. Keep blood sugar less than 110 fasting & less than 200 after food,HbA1C less than 7%. If you find any problem ask again. Thanks

Diabetic patient after have small bowel bacterial overgrowth so try tab rifagut 200 mg bid x 5-7 days. Avoid milk and dairy products.
