I am 33 years old and underwent abortion with mifepristone on 30/3/2019 and misoprostol on 1/4/2019 bleeding started on same day. Today 2/2/2019 evening I am having cramps in right lower abdomen and back. Bleeding clots are stopped by yesterday, simply blood with mucus is discharged. From today evening bleeding is little more than during day time. Is this normal after abortion? Suggestions please.

You might have bleeding for 1 week. Have to do an ultrasound if still no bleeding for 3 to 4 days.

Hello. Some amount of bleeding may continue for about 2 weeks. However, you must take care, in case of heavy bleeding, consult a gynaecologist and rule out incomplete abortion. For the time being you may use trapic mf: twice daily for 2 to 3 days.
