I am 28 weeks pregnant and having cephalic position of baby, my doctor has said that no white discharge should occur, currently I am not having any white discharge but as precaution my doctor has advised me to take clingen forte vaginal tablets one tablet in a month. My question is--is it safe to take one tablet in a month or is it necessary to complete seven days dose.

If there is no symptom of discharge and no past issues of fungal infection its not necessary to take vaginal suppositories.

Hello, Pregnant women commonly develop increased vaginal discharge that is in many instances is not pathological. Increased mucous secretion by cervical glands in response to increased estrogen level is often the cause. However white discharge associated with itching or foul smell may be infective. As per your question, one tablet of clingen forte will not solve the problem if infection is the cause. You can safely use cansoft cl: one tab to be inserted vaginally for 3 days.
