I am 79 years with 68 kg. Otherwise fit. But since about six months or so, feeling memory loss and cramp in palm/ hands. I construe, the same may be due to vitamin b deficiency. Is it correct? And if yes, what diet is preferable for me.

Hello and welcome to Lybrate. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The most accurate way to measure how much vitamin d is in your body is the 25-hydroxy vitamin d blood test. A level of 20 nanograms/millilitre to 50 ng/ml is considered adequate for healthy people. A level of less than 12 ng/ml indicates vitamin d deficiency. I suggest telephonic counselling for you. You can contact me for further advice and treatment options. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
