Hello doctor, My age 18 years I have severe short-sightedness problem left eye:--2.75 right eye:--3.75 I am using spectacles I want to replace it by inserting eye lens into my eye ball my question is q1) will it have any adverse or infectious effect on my eye q2) how should I use it incase I have itching problem or during facewash. Q3)which is better specs or lens q4) why most of the people unaware of it.

You can have corrected vision by using a contact lens that is worn on the cornea. If you can not use both, you can do lasik surgery and correct your vision. You will not get itching by a contact lens.
