Hi I am 33 years old female married and have a kid. I had pulmonary tuberculosis once and I finished the full treatment course. And my doctor stopped the medications once the sputum results turned out negative. But still my doctor warned me that tb may relapse again anytime so be careful. Now my question is why tuberculosis get relapsed again. How do I find that? Because whenever I catch cold and cough I was so much worried and I doubt whether tb have relapsed.

Tb doesn't come back just like that. If you have completed your medications, then there is nothing to worry about. But in case of relapse, most people have fever, cough, increasing breathlesness, blood in sputum, weight loss. Don't worry much.
